  • UT Austin STS Nanolog Nanotechnology is going to change our lives completely - maybe it's time to start talking about it. Nanoscience has the potential to affect every aspect of the world as we know it - from health, to work, to art, to the environment. The STS Program at UT Austin is launching an online forum for informed public discussion on nanotechnology, where people from all walks of life and perspectives can share their insights, opinions, questions, and answers about the impacts of nanotechnology.
  • "Mindfull" by Student Pugwash USA MindFull is a blog project of Student Pugwash USA, an educational, nonprofit organization that prepares science, technology and policy students to make social responsibility a guiding focus of their academic and professional endeavors. Activities encourage young people to probe the reasons for scientific advancement and the implications of technology on citizens’ everyday lives. Student Pugwash USA, the U.S. student affiliate of the Nobel Peace Prize-winning Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs, has roots in the 1955 Manifesto conceived by Albert Einstein and Bertrand Russell that implored scientists everywhere to “learn to think in a new way” about their moral responsibilities in science.
